The fight scenes are all pretty crazy even when the other fighters are competing. The movie shows a wide range of fighting styles which keeps things exciting, from the kickboxing style of Jean-Claude Van Damme to the raw power style of Chong Li, who is a beast. I was sure there was going to be some romantic stuff going on and sure enough it happened. JVCD doesn’t have enough time messing with this reporter he needs to be focused.
We also see the typical American redneck white fighter named Ray. Everything he wears is Harley-Davidson, he trains by drinking beers and disrespects everyone around him. When Ray fights Chong Li and almost dies, Chong Li rips off his Harley-Davidson Head-band and wears it around his calf when he fights JCVD.
Man Code??
There has to be some “Man Moral Code” when you step onto that mat. We see JCVD bust a split and punch the Big guy in his groin. If you are a man you can’t win a match like this. You should be ashamed of yourself JCVD.
